After two break-in attempts in the last few years, my '97 F150 wouldn't let me open the driver side door. I wasn't sure I could find a garage to fix it due to it's age. Having lived in Broomfield for several decades, I was aware of Stang Auto, and they seemed to have a good rep. So I called over, and got a hold of Dave, and explained my problem. He was willing to try to find the part(s) needed for repair. Dave got me in fairly quickly. Within a decent amount of time, after the techs had done a complete inspection, Dave called with a detailed estimate and a description (including pictures) of the current state of my truck. He not only gave me the repair estimate, but a 'laundry list' of recommended maintenance. Over the 17 years I've owned it, I've done routine maintenance, and a few necessary repairs, so it needed a lot of TLC. I approved the estimate, and Dave got the techs going on it. They cleaned the engine compartment so it looks almost like new, and replaced and serviced everything that had become necessary after 38 years. Working with Dave was a pleasure, because he understood what the truck means to me. I think he reflects well on the owners of Stang.
